POLICE are seeking to identify the driver of a white Ford AU Falcon that was involved in two fail-to-stop incidents in Tuggeranong in July.

About 2.40pm on July 25, police on mobile patrol saw the vehicle deliberately lose traction as it turned from Clift Crescent onto Ashley Drive, Richardson.

Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however the car fled the scene at speed.

About 3.40pm the same day, the vehicle was spotted travelling east on Woodcock Drive and through the roundabout onto Johnson Drive, Calwell.

Officers again attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however the car again failed to stop for police and sped away, at one point overtaking a bus on the wrong side of the road.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed these fail to stop incidents, or who may be able to identify the driver or owner of the vehicle.
