Care worker finds woman’s body in Fisher

POLICE were called to a home in Fisher on Monday afternoon after the body of a 92-year-old woman was found by a care worker on a scheduled visit.

A 92-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was taken into custody and is assisting police with enquiries. Police do not believe any other person was involved in the matter and there is no threat to the community.

At this stage, no charges have been laid.
