A 26-year-old man is facing court, charged with unlawful possession of stolen property and three counts of obtaining property by deception.
Police arrested the man in Phillip on Wednesday, having conducted two bail checks for him earlier in the month. On both of those occasions, officers found the man was in breach of his bail conditions.
After his arrest, police searches revealed the man was in possession of a driver’s licence and registration papers connected with a car that had been reported stolen on Monday night.
Further checks revealed the man was suspected of making purchases with a bank card stolen from a parked vehicle on June 5-6.
