THE ACT has recorded 22 new covid cases in the past 24 hours.
At least 13 of these cases were in the community while infectious, while only two were in quarantine during their entire infection period.
Fourteen are linked to known cases and exposure locations and eight of the new cases are under investigation.
There are 10 people with covid in ACT hospitals, two of which are in intensive care and one is requiring ventilation.
At today’s (September 14) covid press conference, ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr said yesterday was a “strong” day for testing with 3721 covid tests completed.
“This gives a very good level of surveillance of where the virus is in our community,” Mr Barr said.
“As always please come forward for testing if you have symptoms or have been at any of the exposure sites.”
