A 23-year-old Taylor man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a mobile phone delivery scam.

A delivery of more than $4.5 million worth of phones was stopped, but some – worth more than $850,000 – were delivered, activated and sold offshore.
On Thursday, police executed search warrants in the ACT, with the assistance of Australia Post and Telstra. Paperwork and 23 phones were seized.
The 23-year-old Taylor man was arrested and will face court on 23 counts of obtaining property by deception.
Police are actively seeking other people involved in this matter as investigations continue, and further charges are expected to be laid.
