Ute driver dies in highway collision at Sutton

A MAN died when his a southbound utility collided with a northbound semi-trailer in the northbound lane of the Federal Highway, Sutton, at about 1am on Saturday.

The 23-year-old ute driver died at the scene.

The 53-year-old male driver of the semi-trailer was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

NSW police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and ask that anyone with dashcam vision or further information to contact Queanbeyan Police or call 1800 333000.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
