The death of a 70-year-old man found inside his Watson home on Monday is being treated as suspicious.

Police were called to the Hanson Place home about 7.55am to check on the man’s welfare and found him dead inside.

Following inquiries by homicide detectives over the past 24 hours, police are now treating the death as suspicious.

Police are seeking anyone who noticed suspicious activity in or near Hanson Place in the days before the man’s body was found.

Anyone with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area who has not already spoken with police is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
