Police have released an image of a man they want to identify as investigations continue into a suspicious house fire in Red Hill in July.

Emergency services were called to a home in Dalrymple Street about 1.45pm on July 17.

ACT Fire & Rescue extinguished the blaze and an initial assessment found the fire had started in a front bedroom. The matter was referred to police.

Police said the man pictured was seen in the area and may be able to assist investigators with their inquiries.
