Police are seeking five young people who allegedly stole about $2400 worth of alcohol from a Swinger Hill grocery store last month.

Police say the group entered the store about 7.30pm on August 14 and took multiple bottles and packages of alcohol before leaving without paying.

Four allegedly entered carrying similar black backpacks while a fifth acted as a lookout at the front of the store.

All five had the lower halves of their faces covered by black masks.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify the group.
