
Nominations have opened for the 2026 CBR Sport Awards, recognising achievements and contributions across Canberra’s sport and recreation sector.
The annual awards recognise athletes, teams, coaches, officials, volunteers and sporting organisations.
They also include the Minister’s Awards for Innovation, Inclusion and Event Excellence, recognising initiatives and outcomes delivered by sporting clubs and organisations.
Last year’s winners included cyclist Jay Vine, aerial skier Laura Peel, athlete James Turner and the Canberra Raiders men’s team.
Nominations close on October 7, with winners to be announced at an awards ceremony on November 26.
