Learner driver allegedly blows 0.100 in Gordon

A 31-year-old NSW learner driver has been charged after allegedly recording a blood-alcohol reading of 0.100 while driving alone in Gordon on Friday night.

Police stopped the Toyota LandCruiser on Jim Pike Avenue about 9.20pm and allegedly found the man was an unaccompanied learner driver and the vehicle was not displaying L plates.

He returned a positive roadside breath test before further analysis at Tuggeranong Police Station recorded 0.100.

The man has been charged with drink driving, driving unaccompanied as a learner, failing to display L plates and using an unregistered vehicle. He was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.
