A 31-year-old Taylor man has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman he met through a dating application.
Police allege the pair had been communicating for several weeks before meeting at the man’s Taylor home on Saturday.
Police further allege the man assaulted the woman and engaged in multiple non-consensual sexual acts despite her making it clear she did not consent.
The woman reported the incident to police on Monday, prompting an investigation. Officers searched the man’s home on Thursday before arresting him.
He has been charged with two counts of sexual intercourse without consent, sexual assault in the third degree and two counts of common assault.
