Man charged over Civic McDonald’s incident

A man has been charged after allegedly threatening a worker and a customer inside a fast-food restaurant in Civic.

Police say they were called to McDonald’s on East Row about 7.55pm on Tuesday following reports of a disturbance.

A 53-year-old man was arrested at the scene and charged with affray.

Police are investigating the incident and are seeking anyone who was inside the restaurant between 7.50pm and 8.10pm on Tuesday to come forward.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
