Lanyon Drive will be closed at the Monaro Highway intersection for three nights next weekend to allow construction work on the Monaro Highway upgrade.

The closure will be in place from 7pm on July 10 until 5am on July 13, weather permitting, while crews install stormwater culverts beneath the road.

Detours will be in place through the Hume industrial area via Sheppard Street, while the Monaro Highway will remain open in both directions.

If the work is delayed by bad weather, the closure will move to the following weekend, from July 17 to 20.
