A Manuka woman has won the $200,000 first prize in Wednesday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
According to The Lott, she told them: “First thing, I want to sponsor a child through a charity organisation. There’s a lot of kids out there in Australia that need help.
“It’s something I’ve been wanting to do, and now I can make it a reality.
“It’ll certainly help in many other areas, too.”
Her winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased at Manuka Newsagency, whose owner Matt Nobbs said: “It’s been a long time coming and we couldn’t be more thrilled for our winner.”
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
