A 33-year-old man has been charged after trading cards, worth thousands of dollars, were stolen from a collectibles store in Acton.
Police said the store was broken into on February 5, with multiple trading cards taken during the burglary.
Police searched a Belconnen home on Friday and located trading cards with serial numbers allegedly matching those reported stolen from the store. A mobile phone was also seized for further forensic examination.
The man has been charged with burglary, theft, property damage and failing to comply with a section 3LA order, which is a court order requiring a person to assist police to access data on a device such as a mobile phone.
Several of the stolen cards remain outstanding and police are appealing for anyone with information about the recent sale of Pokémon trading cards to come forward.
Anyone who can assist urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website or on 1800 333000.
