An alleged altercation between a man and woman in Reid on Tuesday afternoon has led to an assault charge.
At about 4pm, police were alerted to an incident on Ainslie Avenue where the man was arrested.
He faced the ACT Magistrates Court charged with assault on Wednesday.
Police are seeking to speak with the witness who first alerted officers to the incident but left shortly afterwards.
