A Gungahlin man has won $1.6 million in the Saturday Lotto draw on January 3.

The ACT resident held one of the 18 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4639. Each division one winning entry scored $1,666,666.67.

“I checked the ticket early this morning, but I couldn’t believe it,” he told an official from The Lott.

“I’ve checked it constantly ever since. I still can’t believe it, but I’m glad you called!

“I’m actually at work now, but I have a smile on my face and this will just make life a bit easier.

“You have no idea what this means to me, but I’ve yet to decide exactly what I’ll do with the prize.”

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4639 were 19, 36, 21, 10, 9 and 13, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 2.
