A car crashed into the front living room of a home in Kambah, causing significant damage, on Tuesday afternoon.
The 33-year-old Duffy man who was allegedly driving the vehicle fled from the scene on foot.
Police searched the surrounding area before finding the man, who was subject to bail conditions, in the early evening hiding at a nearby residence.
