One person has died and another is in a critical condition after a single-vehicle crash on the Hume Highway, at Gunning, early on Sunday morning. It is the second road fatality in that area since Friday.
NSW police say that at about 6.45am emergency services were called following reports a vehicle had left the roadway and rolled.
A passenger in the vehicle was treated by ambulance paramedics, but died at the scene.
The driver was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
At about 6am on Friday emergency services were called to the Hume Highway, Gunning, after a vehicle had left the road and crashed killing the driver.
