Three men have been charged with resisting or assaulting police in separate incidents over the weekend.
A 29-year-old NSW man has been charged after allegedly assaulting police officers and resisting arrest on Saturday afternoon. He was reported to having been allegedly threatening others at a residence in Palmerston and fighting with another man.
In arresting him, the man allegedly kicked an officer in the head and groped another officer.
He is charged with assault occasioning ABH, two counts of assault frontline community service provider, two counts of damage property and resisting a territory public official.
A 20-year-old Forrest man was arrested after refusing to follow police directions and resisting police at a Civic nightclub following an alleged assault early on Sunday morning.
In arresting him, the man kicked the police transport vehicle and screamed at police during his transport to the police station.
Police say that while officers were moving the man to the cells, he remained aggressive and non-compliant and caused an officer to fall and hit his head, losing consciousness.
He is faces six charges of knowingly obstructing/resisting territory public official, affray and remaining in or re-entering a vicinity or premises.
A 44-year-old Civic man has also been charged after resisting police on Sunday afternoon after he allegedly started yelling abuse at the police and punched the police vehicle.
He is charged with three counts of knowingly obstructing/resisting territory public official and affray.
