The band is back together… Canberra Liberals leader Mark Parton has unveiled his shadow cabinet that includes every member of the opposition, except for former deputy leader Jeremy Hanson, who has been elected Assembly Speaker.
Former leader Leanne Castley has lost her long-term role in the health portfolio to current leader Parton. She now speaks for city services, women and the prevention of domestic violence.
Former leader Elizabeth Lee has re-embraced the shadow cabinet with the portfolios of education, environment and tourism.
Peter Cain who walked away from the shadow attorney-general’s role under Castley has also returned from the backbench with responsibility for government services, community services, veterans and seniors.
