A woman, who inadvertently dropped a bag of heroin and methamphetamine at a local supermarket, became the subject of a police investigation that led to her Higgins home being searched and drugs seized.
In June, police in Belconnen began an investigation into the woman, who was suspected of selling drugs from her home.
On Tuesday, during the search of the woman’s Higgins home and a vehicle in Flynn, police seized cash, multiple mobile and computer devices, and illicit drugs suspected to be heroin and methamphetamine.
Police say charges are expected to be laid at a later date.
