Two 17-year-old boys – one on bail, the other on a good behaviour order – are facing court following a liquor store robbery in Kaleen on Thursday night.

Police allege that one of the boys entered the liquor store at about 8.20pm while the other boy stood in the doorway to prevent people from entering.

The boy inside the store allegedly threatened staff, including that he would assault them with a weapon, before taking alcohol from the store valued at more than $200.

The boys fled, but were found later that night at a residence in Kaleen and arrested.

They were both charged with aggravated robbery in company.
