ACT Police is seeking witnesses to a serious assault on Bunda Street in Civic last month.

A man allegedly punched another man in the face multiple times, knocking out several teeth early morning of February 22.

The man then chased the victim along Bunda Street before the victim escaped by jumping into a taxi. He then allegedly assaulted a second man who was nearby before leaving the area.

The offender is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, with dark facial hair. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a green t-shirt, white shorts and white sneakers at the time of the incident.
