The Canberra District’s annual Fireside Festival will return from July 24 to August 9, with wineries across the region hosting food, wine and fireside events.

The program includes chef-led dinners, wine tastings, food pairings, bonfires and cellar door experiences showcasing Canberra District wines and local produce.

Canberra District Wine Industry Association president Fergus McGhie said the festival was an opportunity for people to reconnect with local wineries and enjoy regional wines during winter.

“Our winemakers will be sharing their passion for wine while introducing visitors to varieties that are particularly suited to Canberra’s cooler months,” he said.
