Wanted man Mark Wood, 47, arrested at the Canberra Hospital on Friday for family violence offences, where he was receiving treatment for unrelated injuries, has fled the hospital.

Police say he was last seen leaving the Canberra Hospital precinct in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with NSW registration FJU11C about 8.30am on Monday.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 177cm (5’10”) with a heavy build and short hair.

Members of the public are urged to call 131444 to report any information regarding his whereabouts.
