Swerving Honda scares oncoming traffic

Police believe the driver of a Honda CRV was swerving across the road, narrowly missing oncoming traffic, before colliding with a Hyundai i30 near the roundabout with Tambreet Street on Majura Road on Tuesday morning.

The drivers of both vehicles and a passenger from the Hyundai were extracted from their vehicles by ACT Fire and Rescue before being taken to hospital, one in a serious condition.

Police are seeking witnesses to the collision at around 10.50am, or anyone who observed the Honda CRV being driven erratically in the Majura area before 10.50am. Call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website
